Connection compartment accessories
Configured to meet each project’s technical requirements
Every Tehomet lighting pole is equipped with a connection compartment for electrical connections. The configuration of the compartment is tailored to the specific needs of each project.
In its simplest form, the compartment includes brackets for fuses and earthing, protected by a screw-mounted access door. For more advanced applications, the compartment can be equipped with sockets, hydrants, or various mounting plates for power supplies and control units. Access doors are typically fitted with hinges and locking mechanisms to ensure safe and convenient operation.
When a socket is installed, a cable channel can be included to allow the door to remain closed and locked while the socket is in use.
Pole installation accessories and mountings
Tehomet lighting poles are typically installed using prefabricated concrete foundations. However, site conditions such as limited excavation depth may require alternative installation methods.
A common solution is flange installation, which involves casting an anchor bolt cage into the foundation and fixing the pole using a matching base flange. Tehomet offers a range of standard flange plates (types 1–8) with compatible anchor bolt cages available as standard products.
Both poles and anchor bolt cages can also be supplied with custom dimensions to suit specific site or structural requirements.
Guards and protective solutions
Protection for poles, trees, and pedestrians
Lighting poles are most commonly exposed to damage in car parks, traffic areas, and during snow ploughing operations. Tehomet provides a selection of protective solutions designed to reduce impact damage and extend the service life of poles.
The range includes pole guards, snow plough protectors, impact protectors, and bollard solutions. These products can also be customized to meet project-specific safety and design requirements.
