Tehomet plays a significant role int he Raide-Jokeri project

Tehomet has been selected as the supplier of tramway-, lighting -and traffic light poles in a large-scale project

Raide-Jokeri is a 25 km long light rail line to be built between Helsinki’s Itäkeskus and Keilaniemi in Espoo. Construction work on the line began in 2019 and traffic on the line will begin in June 2024.

Tehomet has been selected as the supplier of tramway-, lighting -and traffic light poles in a large-scale project. Approximately 700 tramway poles are installed on the line and they operate as so-called multifunctional columns, combining roadway wire supports and roadway lighting in the same structure.

The quality of the products and customer-oriented operations strongly supported the choice of Tehomet as a supplier for the project”. “Traffic volumes on the Raide-Jokeri line are projected to double by 2030, with 90,000 journeys per day at that time.
