Reading lights

Heinola, Finland

A library light pole - one designer’s imaginative vision:

“In my mind, I saw reading lamps coming out of the library and dancing on the streets, creating chaos, movement and action. These strange lamps descended into a new, city-like circle of life. They grew, looked around over their shoulders and hunched. They were a little confused, but settled down in a moment. Their movements slowed down and started to freeze. Slowly they accepted their form and position. Three individual forms results of the frozen choreography.”
