The powder coating line built in Kangasniemi in 2010 had reached the end of its service life due to technological advancements and evolving production needs, making its renewal timely.

In spring 2025, the factory commissioned an upgraded line that meets modern requirements and enables more efficient production. The investment included two parallel-installed 14-meter ovens as well as a renovated powder coating booth.

With the new ovens, the line’s capacity increased by more than 40% in the first phase. The second oven can now be used for degassing hot-dip galvanized products, while the other oven handles powder coating curing. This solution increased powder coating capacity to approximately 50%.

Development of the line will continue in stages, enabling further growth in overall capacity and more flexible production in the future.
