Raw Materials

Tehomet uses low-silicon structural steel (Si+P ≤ 0.04%) to ensure an excellent base for hot-dip galvanizing and long-lasting surface quality. All materials meet CE marking requirements and relevant EN standards, ensuring strength, durability, and optimal aesthetics.

Pole Structure

Every steel pole has a hollow shaft – conical, stepped, or cylindrical – with options for arms or cross arms. Shafts are equipped with mounting solutions for luminaires or arms, and can be installed on concrete foundations or anchor bolts with flange plates. Arms can be upright, single, or double, and add flexibility to height and design.

Manufacturing

Our Kangasniemi (Finland) and Kiiu (Estonia) factories produce standard and custom steel poles, masts, portals, and other structures up to 20 m long and 10 t in weight. We specialise in both large-scale production and one-off, complex designs, with in-house IWS welding coordination and compliance with SFS-EN 40, EN 1090-1, and EN 1090-2 standards.

Hot-Dip Galvanizing

The most common and effective surface treatment for steel products, hot-dip galvanizing provides over 50 years of maintenance-free service life. The zinc layer offers uniform, self-healing corrosion protection, even in demanding climates. We adjust zinc layer thickness to project specifications.

Packaging

We minimise waste with project-specific, recyclable packaging. Options include transport, batch, individual, protective, and ISPM15 export packaging – all designed to protect products during transport and reduce site waste.

Maintenance

Thanks to high-quality materials and galvanizing, Tehomet steel poles require little to no maintenance throughout their lifecycle, ensuring cost-effective and sustainable performance.
