Tehomet has taken a major step in international smart infrastructure by delivering multi-functional smart lighting poles to Indonesia. The deployment, part of a collaborative Proof of Concept led by the Smart City Innovation Cluster (SCIC), supports the development of Nusantara — Indonesia’s new capital city.
This Finnish-Indonesian partnership combines world-class smart infrastructure expertise with local urban development goals. The initiative not only enables advanced citywide connectivity but also creates long-term socio-economic impact.

Scaling for the Future: From Pilot to Nationwide Rollout
Following the successful pilot, Tehomet and its partners are now well-positioned to scale smart pole solutions across Indonesia. These modular, sensor-integrated poles offer intelligent features that support traffic management, environmental monitoring, and 5G infrastructure — essential components for the city of the future.
