On Tuesday this week, we had the honor of hosting Valmont executive leadership team members Greg Turi (President, Infrastructure) and John Schwietz (CFO) at Tehomet’s Kangasniemi facility.
During the visit, our guests were introduced to our lighting pole manufacturing operations, the expertise of our personnel, and the overall activities of the site. It was rewarding to hear that they were impressed by the quality, efficiency, and safety of our production, and above all by the professionalism and commitment demonstrated by our employees.
The discussions also highlighted Tehomet’s long-term development and growth over the years. According to Greg and John, the Kangasniemi facility is an excellent example of an agile and customer-focused operating model, with best practices that can also be leveraged across other Valmont EMEA locations.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity for us to showcase our capabilities and exchange ideas on future development and strategy with the leadership of our international organization.
