About Our Wood Products

Sustainably sourced, precision-crafted wooden poles engineered for beauty, strength, and environmental impact.

Raw Materials

We use strength-graded glued laminated timber (glulam) made from PEFC-certified Finnish pine, ensuring excellent tensile properties and a long service life. The lamellas are positioned with heartwood facing outward, minimising cracking and moisture impact.

The Environment

Wood is a warm, durable, and naturally renewable material. Every wooden pole is a long-term carbon sink, supporting sustainability goals. Our wooden poles offer clients a distinctive way to elevate environmental values in urban lighting projects.

Pole Structure

While sharing core design principles with our steel poles, wooden poles are engineered to leverage the unique characteristics of timber. Steel base and top sections ensure stability, durability, and compatibility with luminaires and arms.

Production

Manufactured in Parikkala, Finland, our poles are precision-machined, treated, and assembled to meet project-specific requirements. Each pole undergoes strict quality checks to comply with EN standards.

Wood Protection & Surface Treatment

We apply multi-layer, water-soluble, and environmentally friendly coatings to protect against UV, mould, and weathering. Flexible finishes adapt to natural wood movement, extending beauty and performance.

Testing

All wooden poles are structurally calculated, laboratory tested, and field-proven in diverse climates, from Nordic winters to Middle Eastern heat.

Packaging & Transport

We use project-specific, minimal packaging to reduce waste while ensuring safe transport. Deliveries are planned for maximum efficiency and cost control.

Maintenance

Wooden poles require occasional inspection and upkeep to maintain optimal condition. Maintenance can be done on-site without removing the pole.
